Our mission is to bring awareness to children and adults alike about the growing epidemic of Obesity and Malnutrition in our country.

Although most Americans are aware of the problems of Malnutrition in third world countries, very few Americans would accept the fact that we have such an epidemic right here at home.

The sad reality is that every year, hundreds of thousands of Americans die from Heart Disease, Cancer, Diabetes and other diseases, many of which are directly or indirectly related to obesity and Malnutrition. Many of which are totally preventable with good nutrition and lifestyle choices.

Since habits are formed early in life and once formed are difficult to break, our focus will be on working with children. Our goal is to help children learn about the benefits as well as the consequences of the choices they make when it comes to nutrition and physical activity. We will do this with fun and educational tools that will encourage and motivate children to develop better nutritional and lifestyle habits.

Although the responsibility of a child's nutritional and health habits squarely lies with us as parents, we also recognize that our children are positively or negatively influenced by other sources. We at Partners For Healthy Kids™, will work very closely with educational institutions, businesses and our government, to ensure that our children are influenced in a positive way.

Our immediate goal is to encourage schools and PTOs to start reducing or eliminating "junk food" rewards and fundraisers and replacing them with more positive ones. With all the "junk food" marketing and advertising that is thrown at our kids on a constant basis, we feel strongly that our school systems must be more conscientious of the messages we send out when we use "junk food" as rewards or even as fundraisers.

At Partners For Healthy Kids™, we are working with concerned businesses, educational institutions and government to come up with more positive ways of rewarding our children while at the same time offering PTOs and other non-profit organizations more beneficial fundraising programs that will help them raise the much needed money they seek.
